Finally, a true flexible mattebox system, designed from the ground up just for the new breed of High Definition lenses. Master designer Alfred Chrosziel, renowned for his innovations in modern mattebox technology has applied his extensive know-how to new High Definition requirements.

The 4x5.650 Modular HD Mattebox basic unit for focal lengths up to 4.5mm includes:

• Wide angle housing which covers 16:9/4:3
• French Flag
• Mounting blocks and pivot mechanism for use with optional side wings
• Swing-away bracket for mounting on 15mm lightweight support rods
• Quick-lock device to interchange different filterstages
• First filterstage for one non-rotating filterholder 4x4/4x5.650
• Up to three rotating filter stages can be added
• Rear plate: 142.5mm diameter for use of various retaining rings
